BIOGRAPHY
Born in Lucea Hanover but now resides between JA and the UK. Ras Blinger as a dedicated student of Jamaican Music, he is now forging his way forward with his contribution in the tradition of some of our greats that has gone before.
Ras Blinga is the Producer of songs like ‘Make Love’ by Jahvinchi, ‘Don’t Worry Mama’ by Shane O, ‘Gal A Wey Yu Do’ by Vershon, ‘Give Me A Chance’ by Turbulence and many others on the ‘New Beat Riddim, distributed by VP Records.
Ras Blinga is also the Producer of ‘Sweet Jamaica’ by Ras Blinga and Sativa D Black 1. Some of his most recent work are ‘Real Friends’ by Ras Blinga and ‘I See An I Saw’ another collaboration done with Sativa D Black 1.
Ras Blinga’s latest production is 365, Bestie and Love An Other Drugs all done by Shaniel Muir.
Prior to Covid 19 Ras Blinger was in the process of visiting Europe and West Africa to take advantage of opportunities that had become available through invites from Promoters to perform his music; however with the gradual easing of restrictions he is ready to showcase some of his latest tracks including the popular “Sweet Jamaica” which is currently receiving regular air play on several Radio Stations.
I have recently signed to be managed by a new label “Frenchie Production” through which my new track “Sweetest Sex” and first album will be released at the end of August and in November respectively. As part of the forward progression I have recently been featured in the Star, the Observer as well as been interviewed on the Buzz, CVM TV, appeared on several radio stations, including RJR, Klass Sport FM, Sun City FM and Big Yard.
